The Pros and Cons of Online Learning

If you're considering completing an bachelors degree in business online, there are some things you should take into consideration. Many well-known colleges and universities offer the option of obtaining certain credits through online learning (part-time), where others offer a complete bachelors degree in business online (full-time). Online learning works best for people who are self-directed learners, highly motivated, able to set and keep deadlines, and/or learn best without the distraction of a busy classroom setting. While online learning does provide some opportunity for email interaction with faculty and other online peers, the majority of the work will be done in solitude. • Not intimidated by classroom dynamics

CONS:

• Long hours working alone
• Not always immediate technical help
• Sense of disconnect from the professor/classmates
• Unable to benefit from classroom discussion
